X-Rite i1Profiler software now on M1 Silicon

one

X-Rite appear to take updated their profiling software so that it now works on M1 Macs using Apple Silicon.

I haven't tested information technology yet. I am but pointing to their announcement of a new version (3.four) of the software. They say it runs under Rosetta.

I installed it on my M1 MB Air 8/512 and successfully generated a contour without issue.

I had a bit of an effect, probably as a consequence of transferring apps and settings from a previous Mac.

The app didn't have read right access to the folder which it stores the ICC contour in. I had to add read write access for my username to the Macintosh Hd > Library > application back up > x-rite. Most other apps seem to use Macintosh HD > Users > 'username' > Library > application back up which would take non needed any permission changes.

Anyhow it's working now and produced a profile with a skillful level of accuracy.

Whatsoever link to the download?  I just bought an epson v800 scanner and it comes with i1 Scanner calibration sw and I can't download and install on M1 Mac.  The x-rite website is not helpful. I can only download a demo version of i1 profiler which runs but unlicensed.  Whatever tips or links are much appreciated.

Pretty sure information technology's this i. https://www.xrite.com/service-back up/downloads/i/i1profiler-i1publish_v3_4_0

EDIT

Well, I simply installed the thing and ran it.  Base spec Studio M1 Max and electric current generation Apple Studio monitor and Monterey 12.3.

Get-go thing that happened is that, subsequently having downloaded the latest revision, it told me to download an update. I would have expected the current download to INCLUDE the most current revision, merely evidently not.

This software has always been a bit buggy for me and I had to run the affair 3 times in Advanced mode before it appeared to part correctly. It ran as normal and named and saved a contour.

When I went to the Brandish panel to select the freshly created profile it does non evidence up as one of the choices.

probably some degree of pilot error here, only I can't seem to identify where.

Whatsoever suggestions?
